Almost three decades ago, I took the Attorney's Oath to become a licensed lawyer and promised to 'endeavor always to advance the cause of justice and to defend and keep inviolate the rights of all persons whose trust is conferred upon me as an attorney at law'. Since that time, I have spent nineteen years in private practice representing thousands of clients with countless legal needs across Arkansas. For the past seven years, I have worked for the Office of Child Support Enforcement in Hope protecting the best interests of children in Hempstead and Nevada Counties. Through it all, I have never forgotten the Oath I took the day I was handed my law license-to always work to advance justice and to protect the rights of the people I serve.

I have been married to my wife, Kandice, for 19 years and we have three beautiful, kind, and successful children. Kandice has been an educator at St. James Day School for over a decade where she teaches Latin and history. Our oldest children are twins, Cooper and Olivia, and attend Prescott High School where they are leaders among their peers and are honors students. Finn is our youngest and is a joyful, hardworking third grade student at St. James Day School. My mother, Joanna, is a constant source of support and encouragement and lives on our property in Prescott, and is the best grandmother to my children.

As a father and youth leader at my church I believe service to others is absolutely vital to teach our young people service to others and service to their community. Participating in community service projects will help our youngest citizens build empathy, responsibility, confidence, and connection with their community. Volunteering will also provide our young men and women with a sense of purpose and a different perspective while teaching compassion. I am also a member of the Hope Lions Club and serve as a board member of the Prescott Hunting & Fishing Club.
Be prepared is the Boy Scout motto. Life lessons learned in scouting will help boys and girls make good decisions throughout life. I am the proud father of TWO Eagle Scouts, and played an integral role in their scouting journey.
Finn is currently in Cub Scouts in Hope-Pack 5, and hopes to follow in his older brother and sister's footsteps and earn his Eagle one day.
